Oaklands Health Centre has been the vaccination centre for Hythe since before Christmas, providing vaccinations for Sun Lane Surgery, White House Surgery, Oaklands Health Centre, Hawkinge and Elham Surgery, The Folkestone Surgery, Folkestone Health Centre, New Lyminge Surgery.

These location does not offer a drop-in vaccination service. All vaccinations are arranged in advance through invitation based on the national priority groups. Please wait to be contacted for when you can get the vaccine.

These are the GP led vaccination service centres, and provision for the Romney Marsh area is expected to be announced soon.

There are also plans to set up mass vaccination sites across the County, each offering up to 3,000 vaccinations a day, and announcements on the sites for them will follow as soon as the locations are confirmed.

* Updated 13th January:

The information on the Kent NHS site at http://www.kentandmedwayccg.nhs.uk/your-health/coronavirus/covid19vaccine is being updated frequently and is my key source of information.

Until yesterday, it said that vaccinations would begin at the Civic Centre in the week commencing 11 January (ie sometime this week, not specifically Monday). Today that has changed to "(Begins during the week of 18-24 January)". For some reason the expected start date has been put back :I don't know why, but it must be a hugely logistically hard job.
