£1,000 Shepway Solar grants

Shepway District Council has decided to extend their £1,000 grant offer to promote solar renewable energy technology.

Creative Environmental Networks (CEN) is an organisation that has a proven track record in providing sustainable energy advice to the domestic sector and is working in partnership with Shepway District Council to deliver the SunRise solar scheme.

The £1,000 grant can also be combined with government funding, made available through the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP). The LCBP can provide a maximum of £2,500 for the installation of solar photovoltaic systems or up to £400 for solar water.

Please note that because this grant availability is limited. Interested residents are encouraged to contact CEN on 0800 358 6669 to be referred to SunRise for a survey.
