Shepway Liberal Democrats have brought live a new on-line shop at www.shepwaylibdems.org.uk/shop which advertises a range of products and services you can buy which will raise money for the Shepway Lib Dems and / or Liberal Democrats nationally.

The new shop is still being developed and the range will extend over time, but already there are a number of specific products listed, including DVDs, books, credit cards, phone calls, electricity, insurance and more. The new shop is designed to both raise funds for local and national campaigning and promote a variety of goods and services, including ethical and environmentally friendly options. Suppliers include Amazon, the Co-operative Bank and the Environmental Travel Association, but more are expected to be added in the near future, including Folkestone & Hythe based companies.

All purchases made via links in the shop will generate a small commission for either the Shepway Liberal Democrats or the Party nationally, which will be spent on future campaigning. Shepway web master Tim Prater said:

"The new shop is designed to carry a range of goods and services - from environmentally friendly and ethical products to fun things such as our recommended books and DVDs. Whatever people buy, a small percentage of those purchases will support Lib Dem campaigning."
