A REAL Deal for Shepway’s Schools

Lib Dem campaigner Lynne Beaumont has pledged to stand up for Shepway's Schools on Kent County Council.
Having been a school Governor and had her children, grandchildren and foster children taught in Shepway Schools, Lynne knows the issues well! She says:
"Shepway already has a real problem with a shortage of school places, and the crunch is coming.
"We will fight to see early details of the new primary and secondary school places that our area desperately needs. There must also be real consultation on the types of school that are opened.
"We will stand up against the forced academisation of our schools - it should be THEIR choice, no-one elses. We will fight for a proper funding deal for Kent schools from the Government."
