Result: Bus Stop in Church Road now cleaned of Graffiti following reporting by Cheriton Lib Dems in May

Shepway Council have had the graffiti removed from the bus stop in Church Road near the Horn Street junction. This issue was reported to the Council most recently on 12 May by Tim Prater, and has taken nearly TWO MONTHS to get resolved.

Councillor Prater said:

"It's about time! The stop looks so much better now, but it's incredible it has taken almost two months from reporting to getting action.

"I'm pleased to see the new graffiti busting equipment is having an impact: a year ago Lib Dem Neil Matthews was proposing that Shepway Council should buy this equipment.

"There's still a lot to do though: I've reported other graffiti in the area which is yet to be cleared. I hope that as the backlog is cleared, the service will improve."
