Bank Holiday Southeastern Rail Service - "Significant Changes"

22 May 2015
Southeastern train

From Southeastern:

"Major engineering work will be taking place over the late May Bank Holiday weekend, from 23 - 25 May, as part of the Thameslink Programme and to improve the signalling equipment in East Kent, resulting in significant changes to Southeastern services."

By "significant changes" they mean:

Throughout the weekend Charing Cross, Cannon Street and Waterloo East stations will be closed.

Southeastern services from Folkestone, Dover and Ashford will also not serve London Bridge. Trains will be diverted to either London Victoria or London Blackfriars with some trains starting / finishing their journey at New Cross.

On Sunday 24 and Monday 25 there will be changes on many other routes.

Full details of changes are on the Southeastern website.

If you're catching a train into London on the "classic" line this weekend, good luck...
