Be Prepared: Shepway Flood Warnings from Environment Agency

The Environment Agency have issued one flood warning and two flood alerts for the Shepway area for the next 24 hours.

The Environment Agency describe the difference between the statuses as:

  • Flood Warning: Flooding is expected. Immediate action required.
  • Flood Alert: Flooding is possible. Be prepared.

Essentially, if you're near the coast in Shepway, there is a flood alert or flood warning in place around high tide times on Thursday night and Friday.
