REMEMBER: We Won the last Folkestone by-election in Park in November 2012. Lets do it again in September 2014 in Folkestone Harvey Central.

A by-election will be held for the Folkestone Harvey Central Ward in early September 2014, following the resignation yesterday of Cllr David Johnson.

The Liberal Democrats will be selecting a candidate for this by-election quickly. Could it be you?

If any Lib Dem member would like to be considered as our candidate in the by-election, in the first instance please contact Lynne Beaumont at lynne@shepwaylibdems.org.uk or 0788 5940945 no later than Noon this Saturday 19th July.

The Shepway Lib Dem Campaign Team will also be meeting soon to look at the campaign we need to run to WIN in Folkestone Harvey Central.

Alongside a great candidate, the amount we can spend will be crucial. The more funding we have:

  • the more leaflets we can afford;
  • the more people we can speak to;
  • the more letters we can send;

...and the more we can remind local people of the terrible mess the Conservatives have made of Parking, CCTV and so much more over the last few years.

You can help give our campaign a flying start by making a donation today. That would allow our Campaign Team to plan the best campaign we can, rather than the best campaign we can afford.
