Changes to Royal Military Avenue

Tim Prater and Peter Carroll in Royal Military Avenue
Tim Prater and Peter Carroll have been fighting for changes to the Royal Military Avenue road scheme.

Your Lib Dem team have surveyed residents in Royal Military Avenue about recent changes by Kent Highways to the road.

Kent Highways, with the backing of Conservative Councillors, have put in place a traffic calming scheme that has reduced parking.

This is despite years of suggested solutions to deal with parking issues and speeding in the road.

Local councillors and residents are furious that their views and plans to put more parking in place were ignored.

The results of the survey will be presented to Kent Highways with a call to look again at the scheme.
