Litter in the gardens of Cheriton Library: a bin would make things better

Local Lib Dem campaigners Darren Briddock & Tom McNeice have asked if a litter bin can be provided outside the library on Cheriton High Street. There is regularly plenty of litter in the gardens of the library, a problem aggravated by the lack of litter bins nearby.

Darren Briddock said:

"It's all very well the Council clearing this litter up (which they do, very occasionally!) - but why have the council not simply put a bin on the site? Give people an alternative to making a mess - it seems so simple to me!"
