Cinque Ports Speakers day

The Mayor attended the event which marks the moment when the current Cinque Ports Speaker hands over the office to the next Speaker. Sandwich Guildhall is a interesting building and served as a perfect venue for such a function.
The Mayor took the opportunity to speak to other Mayors about his intentions and plans as Mayor of Folkestone. He was able to hear about other towns and describe the attributes of Folkestone to those he mingled with.
