Could You Help Me WIN in Folkestone West on 2nd May?
With the election campaign in Folkestone West in full swing, we're now well into planning our polling day work, and could really use your help!
We'll be telling at the polling stations across Folkestone West, which are open from 7am-10pm. Tellers essentially sit outside a polling station and asking people who vote for their voter number or name and address. We don't ask who they voted for or canvass them in any way: our only intention is that we can then cross them off our list of people still to vote to avoid us then knocking on their doors later in the day to remind them to vote.
We've still got a few gaps in our full rota, so if you could offer an hour or two of telling for me on Polling Day (Thursday 2nd May) in Folkestone West that would be a great help to our campaign to hold the seat. If you can help, please email me at tim@prater.org.uk or send me a message via Facebook or Twitter with any times you could help and I'll be in touch to arrange exactly where and when.
Thank you, and thanks for the support I'm getting from across the area: it's great to have people coming up to me in the street and saying they are backing me this time - especially when they haven't done so before! With the Conservatives running us so close last time, we're continuing to work and fight (as we are in the other divisions across Shepway) - either the Lib Dems or the Conservative Robert Bliss will win in Folkestone West, and your help could make a real difference.
