Enbrook Mail and Postal Services: You can make them happen!
A new group has been set up and has conducted a feasibility study to recommence mail and postal services in AB's Minimarket, Enbrook Valley, Sandgate. The initial study has shown that, with a little help from local residents and businesses, introducing these services will be possible, replacing some of the services lost when the Post Office closed earlier this year.
To get the ball rolling £5000 is needed to purchase the equipment for stamping and tracking services. An appeal has been set up to raise this money. Donations made payable to the Enbrook Mail Appeal can be handed into the Lib Dem office on Sandgate High Street, shortly to any pubs, clubs or restaurants displaying the poster appeal, or to any of the named individuals below.
- Roy Brightman - (Leader) 245994
- Mr J Muthiah - (Proprietor of AB's Minimarket)
- Cllr Season Prater - (Treasurer) 210300
- Nick Baker (Secretary) - 770677
- Mrs V Cooney - 252662
All contributions will be permanently recorded in the Mail Office to record this unique event. If you would prefer your donation to remain anonymous please indicate.
