End of Guiding Centenary Ceremony at the Guiding Flower Bed on The Leas

FMTMN

This event is a photo call to mark the end of a year of celebration for the guiding movement. I have been privileged to have attended many of the events this year and this final ceremony was tinged with sadness at the end of a very long party. The Guiders and Trefoil members however, are looking forward to a little more rest from the constant organising.

Representatives from the various groups were present (Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger) as well as the leaders, the Town and District Council and the garden designers and maintenance crew. George Bunting and I handed over a cheque from the collections made at the garden display throughout the year.
