England Coast Path - Now including Camber to Folkestone and Folkestone to Ramsgate

As of July 19th, you can now walk directly from Camber to Folkestone and Folkestone to Ramsgate via the England Coast Path. The coastal stretch has been given coastal access rights by order of the Secretary of State. Commenting on the introduction of coastal access rights, Sandgate Parish Councillor Gary Fuller said:

"This is a great initiative that preserves and protects the right of the public to access our coastal areas. The introduction of coastal access rights between Camber and Folkestone, as well as between Folkestone and Ramsgate, will encourage local tourism, and will benefit local businesses, especially in a coastal village like Sandgate."
