Fabulous! Joanna Lumley Endorses Lynne Beaumont for Folkestone and Hythe
Actress and campaigner Joanna Lumley has given a glowing endorsement to Lynne Beaumont in her fight to be the next MP for Folkestone & Hythe. Lynne worked closely with Joanna during the Folkestone based Gurkha Justice Campaign which was spearheaded by Joanna.
In the endorsement, the full text of which follows at the foot of this note, Joanna says of Lynne,
"Lynne Beaumont is an exceptional person: everything she fights for is to make life better for people, whether it is in local health or for the homeless, or combating injustices or unfairness.
"Her friendly, trustworthy character and sharp intellect make her a formidable adversary, and her unfailing courage and consistency suggest that she is the very person to represent others as an MP for her region.
"If I lived in Folkestone or Hythe I would vote for her, no matter what my political persuasions might be. She is quite simply the best of the best."
