Father of beaten teen on quest to fix faulty CCTV

The father of a teenager who was badly beaten in sight of a faulty security camera did not work says he will not rest until Folkestone's CCTV is sorted out.

Nigel Mason says he is prepared to go to local government secretary Eric Pickles if Shepway District Council fails to overhaul its ailing system.

Cllr Lynne Beaumont said: "We need CCTV. I don't care who runs it but it needs to happen and it needs to happen now."
