Litter strewn across Kingsnorth Gardens

Lib Dem Councillor for Harvey Central Gary Fuller is calling on Shepway Council to keep Kingsnorth Gardens tidy having been appalled at the amount of broken glass and rubbish during a recent visit. Gary was walking through the park with his wife and young children at just after 11am on Thursday 9th August when he came across an area littered with broken glass, empty beer cans and food wrappings. He was shocked to see that one of the ponds had a number of plastic bags and empty bottles and cans in it as well.

Gary said: "This presents a serious hazard to children and looks appalling. Despite there being CCTV in the park, this kind of anti-social behaviour is still occurred and nothing appears to have been done to clear up the mess caused".

Gary Fuller has written to Shepway District Council to find out why the Gardens had not cleaned up and what is being done to prevent a recurrence.
