The Folkestone Literary Festival is underway with talks by some well-known faces from the world of entertainment, including Maureen Lipman, Denis Norden, Kate Adie and Sandi Toksvig.

Leading writers such as Joanna Trollope, Quentin Letts, John Hegley and David Starkey will also be reading extracts from their latest books, as well as taking questions from the audience on all aspects of reading and writing.
