Folkestone Triennial 2011 Launch

FMTMN

It was a great pleasure to join with hundreds of other people at The Grand to hear the first four Triennial artists named. There was an air of excitement and anticipation in waiting to hear some of the plans, especially being able to remember the last Triennial and having enjoyed the exhibitions.

The gathering was an ideal opportunity to chat to tenants from the Creative Quarter and to the planners and designers of the 2011 Triennial. It also proved to be an enjoyable experience in sharing the positive aspects and outlook of Folkestone.

The growth of confidence was easy to hear in the general conversations, and I look forward to seeing the exhibits arrive in June 1011 and enjoy sharing the extraordinary art with the thousands of people that we hope will flood into Folkestone for the 2011 Triennial.
