Lynne said:

"Thousands of jobs across East Kent are reliant on our membership of Europe. If UKIP get their way and Britain leaves the EU, there will be unemployment in this country on a scale we've never seen.

"Is everything about the EU and the way it works at this moment right? No.

"Should we be in there, arguing our case and getting change - as Lib Dem MEPs have to get mobile roaming charges abolished? Yes.

"Should we be considering leaving the EU? No. Our economy would be in tatters, and unemployment would soar.

"Business after business has said that they rely on our EU membership.

I'm proud of the Lib Dem campaign as the Party of IN Europe. In the European Elections on 22 May, the choice is clear. If you value UK jobs, then being IN Europe is the way to keep them, and the Lib Dems are the Party of IN."
