STRANGE CARGO NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Strange Cargo's Georges House Gallery is currently in the running to host an event by Spencer Tunick and bring the artist to Folkestone as part of Culture24's Connect10 Museums at Night competition. However, they need your help.

Famed for his documentation of the live nude figure in public, Tunick's installations have occured worldwide. If Strange Cargo is successful Tunick will undertake a nude photo-shoot at a Folkestone seafront location, inviting up to 250 people the opportunity to volunteer as participants. Following on from the shoot, at a special event held at Georges House Gallery, participants will receive their own unique viewing scope with a Spencer Tunick photograph from the day.

Two other venues have been shortlisted for the event, The Brighton Pavillion and Museum and Jerwood Gallery in Hastings. Voting closes the Tuesday 28th January at 5pm. Please help to bring this event to Folkestone.
