Free consumer advice for Kent car owners

15 Nov 2006

Kent Trading Standards will be at the Performance Area in Upper High Street, Ashford (between County Square and Park Mall) on the 20th November. Trading Standards Advice Officers will be joining apprentice mechanics and tutors from South Kent College to offer consumer advice and practical tips on car purchasing and servicing.

Advice topics will include how to check for body corrosion and how to identify worn and under inflated tyres. If you have questions about your rights when getting your car serviced, or perhaps you want advice on what to look for when buying a second hand car, then visit Kent Trading Standards on Monday 20th November in the Performance Area between 10am and 4pm.
