Free May Half Term holiday play events announced

The Mobile Activity Programme are free family play run by Shepway Council and funded by the Big Lottery and take a range of activities to venues across the district.

The programme for the play events taking place over the May Half Term have been announced. All are free of charge and staffed by three play workers who facilitate games/play for ALL ages.

Activities available for local children include painting, sticking, bead threading, ball games, music, stilts, unicycle, puppets, board games, face painting, plate spinning, toys & more!

The May Half Term 2009 holiday dates (all sessions run from 11am - 3pm) are:

  • Mon 25th May: Radnor Park, Folkestone
  • Tues 26th May: The Common, Stelling Minnis
  • Weds 27th May: The Greens, Coast Rd, New Romney
  • Thurs 28th May: Bakers Gap, East Cliff, Folkestone
  • Fri 29th May: Tayne Field, Lyminge
