Local campaigner Gary Fuller has welcomed pathway potholes repairs in Castle Hill Avenue by Kent Highways - two weeks after he reported them, and less than twenty-four hours after he met with Kent County Councillor Roland Tolputt to discuss the state of Folkestone's roads and pathways.

Folkestone Lib Dem campaigner Gary reported the potholes, which were located on the central pathway of Castle Hill Avenue between Sandgate Road and Bouverie Road West, on August 1st. On August 15th Kent Highways repaired them.

Commenting Gary said:

"I'm ecstatic that there has been action on pathway potholes. I've been working hard to report every pothole I can find in Central Folkestone. I've also met with Kent County Councillor Roland Tolputt to highlight the issue.

"Folkestone's roads and pathways have been allowed to fall into disrepair, but things can be turned around!

"If local residents know of potholes in Central Folkestone on either a road or pavement, then if they let me know on 07776 145 084 or email gary@shepwaylibdems.org.uk and I'll talk it up with Kent Highways."
