"Fly tipping damages our town and is a blight on the whole of the local area."

Town councillor Gary Fuller has reported a television and two mattresses that he found dumped in the car park of Pavilion Court to Shepway District Council.

He discovered the fly tipping last week whilst returning from a meeting with a local resident about increasing litter in Folkestone.

Commenting, he said: "Fly tipping damages our town and is a blight on the whole of the local area. Folkestone can be a beautiful place if we all respect it and if Shepway District Council take strong action on illegal fly tipping."
