Go Lisa! Dobriskey to run in Olympic Final this weekend

Former Romney Marsh resident Lisa Dobriskey, the current Commonwealth Games 1500m gold medallist, runs in the women's 1500m Olympic Final in Beijing, Saturday 23 August at 12.50pm (UK time).

Lisa went to The Marsh Academy (formerly Southlands) and lived on the Marsh until she went to university at Loughborough four years ago. Friends and family will be watching her live on the BBC at the Academy Leisure Centre in Station Road, New Romney.

Lisa qualified for the final by coming third in her semi-final in a time of 4 mins 3.22s - the only GB athlete to qualify for the final.
