Howard's negative campaign set for double defeat

Michael Howard
set to lose?

Michael Howard is set to lose both the General Election AND his own Parliamentary seat in the Folkestone & Hythe Constituency on Thursday.

Most local people agree, that the Conservative campaign in this election has been the nastiest and negative ever seen in our country. Much of it has been built on fear, lies and breathtaking hypocrisy.

Mr Howard has found himself under attack from the NHS staff over false claims on MRSA deaths and a top police officer for "stirring up fear of rising crime."False Conservative claims blaming Council Tax rises on asylum costs are even under police investigation.

Peter Carroll said, "The last few weeks has really shown how much the Conservatives have lost touch with real people. More and more people are rightly saying that the real alternative to Tony Blair is Charles Kennedy's Liberal Democrats."
