Hythe High Street Closure for Gas Mains Works

Hythe High Street will be closed for 5 weeks Monday 11th January until Monday 15th February to enable gas mains replacement.

The High Street will be closed from the junction with East Street Roundabout westwards to the first section of raised block-paved carriageway, with no through access between A259 Prospect Road / East Street and Douglas Avenue.

The alternative route is via A259 Prospect Road and Douglas Avenue.

The One-way Traffic Order in respect of Douglas Avenue, Hythe will be suspended so it becomes 2-way to allow access / exit to and from High Street. The One-way Traffic Order in respect of High Street, Hythe will be suspended from the junction with Douglas Avenue eastwards to the point of closure to allow access / exit.
