Simon Bishop

An election is coming. We can be sure of that. As I write the calling of a General Election is being debated in the Commons. Despite a flurry of amendments one thing is becoming increasingly clear: a General Election is not far away.

I've been so touched, and so humbled, by the level of support for me over the past few weeks.

But we have further to go. We're now just about half way to funding the campaign plan we want to deliver. If the election is called today, I'll be sitting down with my agent over the weekend and we'll need to start "writing cheques" for the campaign. He needs to know we can cover them.

That is why I am contacting you now to ask you to help me raise the cash to win here.

If you have not already done so, can you help us get off to a flying start with a donation today?

We need to raise £5,000 in the next few days to KNOW we can run the campaign we want to see here. Any donation you can make towards that figure - whatever size - will be hugely appreciated. We'll use EVERY POUND to fight for Folkestone and Hythe, and to Stop Brexit.

This will be an election that defines the next generation.

If you are able to make a donation you can do so here.

Thank you so much. We know we have a huge challenge here. But we can rise to it. Even the smallest donation will help towards helping make me the next MP for Folkestone and Hythe.

Kind regards,

Simon Bishop

General Election Candidate for Folkestone and Hythe

PS. Knowing we have campaign funds in place allows us to run the best election campaign possible. A 25 day campaign means we have to make decisions early and fast. We can't commit to spending money we haven't got. Donations made in the next few days will allow us to place the key orders for the big items in our campaign, and get our message out across Folkestone and Hythe. Thank you.
