It's time Sandgate went Mobile

2 May 2015

Local Lib Dem Gary Fuller has expressed dismay at the seeming inability of mobile phone companies to offer excellent service to Sandgate residents. Gary, who is standing for election to Shepway District Council on Thursday, has noted that the main mobile networks have signal blackspots in various streets in Sandgate, including the Crescent where he lives, and hopes that a solution can be found for residents and local businesses.

Commenting, Gary said:

"I work in a creative industry that requires me to have near constant access to the Cloud. Sandgate has a number of such businesses. The lack of mobile phone signal is a real barrier to business and also to the enjoyment of our idyllic piece of the Kent coastline. As a Shepway District Cllr I'd seek to find ways to overcome the lack of mobile signal in the Village for the benefit of residents and businesses alike."
