Job Vacancy: Clerk's Assistant for Sandgate Parish Council

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Clerk's Assistant at Sandgate Parish Council. This is an interesting and varied post supporting an active, community and business-focused council. The successful applicant will be required to work with the Parish Clerk to provide professional support and guidance in respect of all aspects of the council's work.

The role will commence in April 2014 and will be part-time at 16 hours a week with additional evening meetings. The successful candidate will also assist with running Sandgate Library.

Salary will be £8.11 per hour in accordance with NJC scale SCP points 13 - 27 (pro rata) depending on qualifications and experience. Please download the Job Description and Person Specification from these links.
