Treasure Chest

The Countryside Access Group at Kent County Council has launched a countywide advertising campaign to promote "Explore Kent". The primary aim is to raise awareness of "Explore Kent" and what it offers to the residents of Kent.

The campaign revolves around the idea of a Treasure Hunt. Leaflets have already been distributed to every home in Kent via K ent Messenger free sheets. In the following 4 weeks, 4 adverts are being placed in the Kent Messenger 'What's on' guide and 2000 posters will be put up in schools, country parks, libraries and tourist information centres.

People can take part in the treasure hunt by logging onto www.mytreasurehunt.org.uk , registering their details and they then need to answer 3 questions correctly to be in with a chance of winning. There are 5 fantastic prizes to be won, one Trek bike worth £500 for 5 areas of Kent.

If you have any questions about the campaign or would like support the campaign by putting up posters or distributing flyers from your venue then please feel free to contact Rebecca Hoffman on 01622 221359 or email her at rebecca.hoffman@kent.gov.uk
