Join Us for Kent Pride in Margate

Over the past few months Pride events have been happening across the whole of the UK with some of the largest turnouts yet, with 1000s of spectators and even bigger parades than before. The Liberal Democrats have taken part in most of them - from Glasgow, Cardiff and London, to Leeds, Brighton and many more.

In Margate on Saturday 29th August we have Kent Pride. The East Kent Coast Liberal Democrats have secured a place in this year's Pride in Thanet, and all members are invited to come join us on the day and stand with us in the parade to show our continued support for 'Pride in Equality'. All ages are welcome so do not hesitate in bringing children as well.

The parade begins around 11am. We shall be meeting from 10am onwards to get organised and meet everyone.

Depending on your mode of transport, we can let you know where to meet us. Margate can easily be accessed by car or train with parking around the town and the station bringing you right onto Margate main sands.

There is entertainment all day long starting with the parade, live music, stalls and refreshments continuing throughout the day. It's a great opportunity for a day out for everyone - right on Margate main sand and close by Dreamland.

To demonstrate your support, we have Liberal Democrat T-shirts priced £7.00, or special shirts with 'Liberal Democrats for Equality', priced £12.50.

We'd love to see all members from across Kent joining us in our first Pride in the area - and it will also be a great opportunity to socialise.
