On Tuesday 3rd January 2012 PCSO's Lesley Jarman and Mark Ball responded to a report of a tree obstructing the road of Cherry Garden Avenue. The officers set in place a cordon and redirected traffic, and called for the Highways Agency to attend. PCSO's James Chadwick and Tara Liam also attended in order to assist.

On Saturday 7th January 2012 whilst conducting house to house enquiries in relation to linked reports of criminal damage in Kings Road, Roman Way and Wells Road, PCSO Mark Ball stopped and spoke with a known male he believed may be responsible for the incidents. The male verified his level of involvement and named the main person responsible, who was subsequently arrested.

PCSO Mark Ball conducted enquiries at Folkestone West Train Station in relation to a report of criminal damage caused by a group of young persons who had run towards the direction of the station. Upon viewing CCTV, although the group attempted to hide their features, Officer Ball was successful in identifying 2 of the group.

In response to recent reports of large volumes of young persons loitering on the private grounds of Saga, PCSO Mark Ball conducted a high visibility foot patrol and located a small group who were trespassing. The individuals were moved on from the area, and Saga security was informed.
