Kent Police update January 2012 - Sandgate

PCSOGC

During December there were no reported incidents of theft or criminal damage in the ward. Police responded to vehicle obstruction issues in Military Road, Meadowbrook Court, Radnor Cliff Road and Castle Road. There have also been several reports of abandoned vehicles in the ward and these details have been passed to the local Council.

Kent Police found several vehicles in residential streets left unlocked overnight. Vehicle crime statistics in Sandgate remain very low however by following the following tips you can reduce the possibility of theft. Lock all doors and close windows in vehicles, even if the car is left for only a short time. Do not leave any items such as sat nav, ipods etc in view in the car and remove them from the vehicle when not being used.

I shall be holding two surgeries in January where anyone can speak to me about policing issues, alternatively I can be contacted on 0777 222 6116.

Surgeries (to be held in Sandgate Library):

  • Friday 11th January between 11:30 and 12:30
  • Monday 28th January between 11:30 and 12:30
