Kettle Chips "Wave Cut": limited product recall notice

Product Recall: KETTLE® Chips Wave Cut Lightly Salted 150g, KETTLE® Chips Wave Cut Salt & Pepper 150g, KETTLE® Chips Wave Cut Salt & Vinegar 150g, KETTLE® Chips Lightly Salted 150g - Best Before Date: 29th October 2011

Kettle Foods Ltd has identified that a limited number of bags of KETTLE® Chips products, with a best before date of 29th October 2011, may contain pieces of plastic that are similar in appearance to the crisps.

The products in question are KETTLE®Chips Wave Cut Lightly Salted 150g, KETTLE® Chips Wave Cut Salt & Pepper 150g, KETTLE® Chips Wave Cut Salt & Vinegar 150g (all three affected Wave Cut products were sold through Asda Stores only) and KETTLE® Chips Lightly Salted 150g (this affected product was sold through Tesco Stores only). All of the 4 batches affected are dated best before '29 Oct 11'.

As a precautionary measure, customers are advised not to eat the product and to contact Kettle Foods for a full refund.
