Lock it: PCSO advice following reports of Folkestone thefts from cars

7 May 2009

Park ward Councillor Lynne Beaumont has met with local PSCO's following several reported thefts from cars and reported attempted break-ins in the Downs Road and Dolphins Road area of Folkestone.

Lynne commented:

"The PSCO's for our area have knocked on many doors locally to make people aware of the problem. They are asking people to make sure they are closing doors and windows when they are out, or in their gardens. As a result, the numbers being reported are dropping.

"If anyone sees anything suspicious, please let Folkestone police station know on 01303 850 055, or if you see a crime in progress, dial 999."
