Lydd Airport Planning Meeting: Date Confirmed

2 Jun 2009

Shepway Council has announced that the Council will be considering the planning applications for London Ashford Airport, Lydd, at a special meeting to be held in the Council Chamber on Thursday 9 July 2009 at 7pm.

in a letter to Councillors, the Chief Executive Alistair Stewart has also confirmed the arrangements for public viewing of the proceedings. He says:

"At the meeting, the public gallery of the Council Chamber will be occupied by the press and speakers only. Because of the wider interest in the application, a web cast is being organised which will allow the proceedings to be followed on any private personal computer with appropriate internet access. Arrangements are also being put into place for the web cast to be screened at the Marsh Academy in New Romney. Once confirmed, these arrangements will be publicised at an appropriate time in advance of the meeting."
