Lydd Civic Reception

The Folkestone Mayor and Mayoress attended the Civic Reception to welcome the new Mayor of Lydd. The historic venue, with displays from the museum, was a fitting venue for the celebration following the appointment of Rochelle as Mayor of Lydd.

Many people from the local community were invited, including local business people, representatives from the local church, along with members of groups and organisations based in Lydd. The event gave an opportunity for the new Mayor of Folkestone to meet other Mayors and dignitaries, enhancing links with the towns close by.
