Lydd Mayor's Fundraising event at Lydd Golf Club

I can still feel a twinge or two as I write this, having hit 50 balls on the driving range in what appeared at the time, an easy style. My muscles the following day did not agree!

Once again the company of other Mayors and friends made the day interesting and enjoyable. Rochelle had laid on a wonderful spread for lunch and the supporters of the Kent Air Ambulance were there to answer any of our questions.

Many people had a little go on the putting green whilst I continued to hit a golf ball a massive (!) 75 yards. At least one ball reached the 100 yd mark, which made my day. My pride was deflated however when a 13 year old came out onto the driving range and started hitting the 200yd marker regularly.
