Lynne Welcomes Great News on Jobs and Apprenticeships for Folkestone and Hythe

Lynne Beaumont has welcomed news that over 5,800 new jobs have been created across Folkestone & Hythe since 2010.

Over 3,800 new apprenticeships have been created since 2010. Lib Dem Campaigner for Folkestone and Hythe Lynne Beaumont says:

"Times have been really hard over the last few years while the mess in our economy has been sorted out. When Labour left office there was no money left - even they admitted it then!

"It has been hard, but it is working.

"Jobs are up. Apprenticeships are up. Taxes are down for millions.

"There is more money in our schools for the most disadvantaged and youngest pupils."
