Meet the candidates and have your say!
With the General Election in just nine weeks, Lynne Beaumont and the other candidates for the role of your local representative in Westminster will be going head to head in a number of hustings events across the area.
Current incumbent Damian Collins will be grilled for his lacklustre record in Westminster, while local Lib Dem campaigner Lynne will set out her vision for making Folkestone and Hythe a better place for everyone. Lynne successfully increased the Lib Dems' share of the vote in 2010, coming second overall, whilst both the Conservatives and Labour Party lost votes.
Lynne will be looking to build upon that success in 2015 by offering a vision of a stronger local economy for Folkestone and Hythe, which incorporates real opportunity for every resident, within a fairer society for all. As the only progressive voice for Shepway with a chance of being elected to Parliament on May 7th, local people will be keen to hear what Lynne has to say about the things that matter to them.
Four hustings events have been booked so far, with more expected to follow. To meet the candidates and have your say, simply turn up at one of the events listed below:
