Peter Carroll is leading calls for more Police on our streets

Lib Dem Peter Carroll has launched a county wide campaign to change the way Kent is policed. Currently Kent Police uses a system called 'intelligence led' policing which leads to very few officers actually being on patrol.

Liberal Democrats want to see a change of approach and are campaigning for more Police actually on patrol in our community.

Councillor Tony Baker said, "Local people are always telling us that they rarely see a Police Officer on patrol in our area. We believe that more Police on our streets would have a real effect on crime and anti social behaviour in our neighbourhood."
