Neil Matthews: Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesman for Folkestone & Hythe

Shepway Liberal Democrats last night selected Neil Matthews as the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Folkestone and Hythe at the next General Election. Neil has lived in the constituency for over 20 years with his family, and has served as a Parish Councillor, including as Chair and Vice Chair, Town Councillor, Mayor of Hythe and District Councillor.

The selection meeting took place at Etchinghill Village Hall in Etchinghill on the evening of the 10th May. Members select the Party's candidate, and after the result was announced, Neil thanked members for their support and promised to start work for the constituency on Sunday, and to work to win Folkestone and Hythe for the Liberal Democrats.
