New Balcony on Homevale House in Sunny Sandgate Shines out

21 Sep 2024
Tim Prater with Homevale House owners, tenants and residents on the newly completed balcony.

Really fun yesterday to "cut the ribbon" (kinda!) on the new balcony balustrade on Homevale House in Sandgate High Street.

The new management company have done a lot of work on the block over the last year, and have more planned (brick replacement, repointing, redecoration  etc) but the change from a wall on the balcony in from of the first floor communal lounge has absolutely transformed the space and outlook.

Before the room could be a little gloomy and sitting down you had little sea view. The communal lounge is now flooded with light and there is a full sea view from every point in the lounge. In my opinion its probably one of the best and widest sea views of anywhere in Sandgate!

Really grateful for the welcome and the party was still going when I left!
