New Lib Dem Video on Iraq released on Shepway web site

16 Nov 2006

The Lib Dems have just released a new short film about Iraq, David Cameron, Gordon Brown and the Liberal Democrat alternative. You can see it this weekend on the front page of the Shepway Liberal Democrats web site at www.shepwaylibdems.org.uk or at Google Video. The film will also be broadcast this Friday 17th November on BBC1 at 18.55, BBC2 at 17.55 and ITV at 18.55.

Shepway Lib Dem web master Tim Prater has been helping to promote the new national video, encouraging as many people to watch it as possible. Tim says:

"The Lib Dems took a strong stance against the war in Iraq despite both Labour - including Gordon Brown - and the Conservatives - including David Cameron - voting for the war.

"History has proved it - the Liberal Democrats were right in opposing the war in Iraq, and Gordon Brown and David Cameron were wrong in supporting it. This short film, which will also be shown on national television this weekend, spells out the Liberal Democrat alternative."
