New Local Vocals Community Choir

5 Mar 2008

Local Vocals, who have made their name for their Feel-good singing workshops in Sandgate and Folkestone over the last few years, are starting a new Community Choir in Sandgate.

Initially, they will meet around once a month on Monday evenings from 7pm - 9pm at the Chichester Hall on Sandgate High Street. The dates for this term are as follows: March 3 & 31, April 28. June 2 & 30. Price is £25 for the term or £6 per session.

Local Vocals Community Choir will be led by singer and music therapist, Margareta Burrell, who already runs Tido, a very successful community choir in Cranbrook.

The Choir is designed for people who just like to sing - and perhaps even thought they couldn't! You don't have to read music or have any experience - just a love of singing. Local Vocals plans to introduce all kinds of music from around the world including Gospel, African, Jazz, Polynesian and Folk. Everyone is welcome. Just turn up and sing!
