New Park Car Park

Gary Fuller at Sandgate Park

A new parking area for up to 10 cars will be created this Spring at Sandgate Park on Military Road.

Sandgate Parish Council are building the car park as a part of their programme of improvements to the Park since taking on its running a few years ago.

The new parking will be free for up to two hours for park users. It will be accessed off Military Road and use some of the existing dog run, which will be repositioned and re-fenced. The dog run will end up a little squarer but much the same size.

Gary Fuller said:

"The Council has been investing in improving the park since taking it over from Folkestone and Hythe a few years ago: the car park is the next phase of that."
