Polling Day Leaflet
With no Labour councillors in Shepway, only the Liberal Democrats or Conservatives can win here.

New Romney Town residents are going to the polls today to choose their new District Councillor. Lib Dem candidate Toni Powell has pledged that as your new Councillor she will fight for real action to resolve the Conservative Council's recycling fiasco.

Toni says:

"Too many people have had to wait days and days just for their rubbish to be collected. It's just not good enough.

"As your new Councillor I won't be put off by excuses. Having rubbish on our streets for days is a disgrace and I will fight to clear up this mess."

Toni lives locally and understands how strongly local people feel about anti social behaviour, Lydd airport, the fight for mains drainage and an end to the fiasco over rubbish collection.

Polls are open until 9pm tonight.
